ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಗೌಡ ವೆಲ್ಫೇರ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್ (ರಿ.) ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು

ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಗೌಡ ವೆಲ್ಫೇರ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್ (ಆರ್) ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಜುಲೈ 2003 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಡಾ.ಪಿ.ಮುದ್ದಪ್ಪ ಗೌಡ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ.ಆರ್.ಚಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಗೌಡ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಕೆಲವು ಸಮಾನ ಮನಸ್ಕ ಜನರು (ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ) ಪ್ರೊ.ಕೆ.ಎಂ.ಶಿವರಾಂ ಅವರ ನಿವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ದ.ಕ.ಗೌಡ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಜನರನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್ ರಚನೆ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿದರು. ಆ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಅಗಾಧ ಬೆಂಬಲದಿಂದ ವೆಲ್ ಫೇರ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್ ನ ಕನಸು ನನಸಾಯಿತು. ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಗೌಡ ವೆಲ್ಫೇರ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನೋಂದಣಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ.334:2003-04 ದಿನಾಂಕ 11-7-2003 ರಂದು ಅದರ ನೋಂದಾಯಿತ ಕಛೇರಿ ನಂ.5, 1 ನೇ ಕ್ರಾಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. 1 ನೇ ಮುಖ್ಯ, ಅರಮನೆ ಅಡ್ಡ ರಸ್ತೆ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು - 560020. ಸಂಘದ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯು ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಗೆ ವಹಿಸತಕ್ಕದ್ದು. ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯು 15 ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರಬಾರದು ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಅವಧಿಯು ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಮೊದಲ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯು ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ:

Objectives of the Association

To arrange cultural programmes, games, sports activities, recreation and other development activities.
To conduct training progammes in music, dance, drama, yoga, tailoring and other human resource development activities.
To organize teaching languages, computer training, cookery and bakery classes.
To organize and sponsor inter-institutional competitions in sports, games and other intellectual activities.

To promote construction of community hall, prayer hall and to conduct cultural functions.
To organize and run recreation club with facilities for outdoor and indoor games and facilities
To raise funds and operate accounts for providing scholarships and charity to the deserving people irrespective of caste, creed and community.
To build/ purchase and own immovable and movable properties as and when such situations arise. The properties of the Association shall be in the name of the Association.
